NEW: Capoeira Aché Brasil Calgary’s Batizado e Troca de Corda on SUNDAY, MAY 9, 2010.
This year Capoeira Aché Brasil Calgary will host its third annual event, presenting the talent of Capoeira Aché Brasil Calgary’s students, as well as students from Vancouver, Canmore, Fernie and others who will demonstrate their skill by playing capoeira with instructors, high ranking students and a renowned master of capoeira, Mestre Eclilson de Jesus of Vancouver. Please invite your friends and family. It is an amazing event to attend, especially if you’ve never seen capoeira.
The workshops will start on Friday afternoon, May 7th and run through Sunday morning, May 9th at the University of Calgary. The students who are interested in participating in workshops and/or Batizado need to register beforehand. To register call (403) 714-8612 or email capoeira.calgary@gmail.com.
